The Comments click-through comes up as a split window rather than a page. If I go full page view it fills the whole screen and obscures my browser toolbars.

Is it the template - or am I being semi-retarded? The latter is entirely possible. Please can you advise.

India needs more energy!

This deal isn't about weapons its about 'civil nuclear technology'. India's growing economy, population and curry shops need more energy and fast! Remember, India already has nuclear weapons - and has had so for over 8 yrs.

I think the deal should go ahead bcos:

- India will get access to US civil nuclear technology.

- In return, India will classify 14 of its 22 nuclear facilities as being for civilian use, and thus open to full international inspection.

- Civil nuclear co-operation with India will not lead to an arms race in South Asia

- The deal would improve energy security, by reducing India's reliance on fuel from Iran, and help the environment by cutting its carbon emissions.

- The agreement has been welcomed by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Britain, France and Russia.

This 1 billion people eating curry is beyond my expertise - I am a nuclear weapons (not natural gas)expert.
