I found this site (www.downsyndromedolls.com, believe it or not) selling a range of Down Syndrome Dolls.It is just me or does anyone else find this slightly spooky and corrupted?

I think you guys are right, there is nothing wrong with these dolls. Just felt that it was a case of exploitation, but having thought about it I dont think it is.

As a parent of a down syndrome child, I approve. It makes my daughter feel normal, not a freak. She loves it. Her "normal" sister also has one and is very proud. If a "normal" child can have a doll like them, why can't a DS child?
